17 cm K.18.i.Mrs.Laf Metal Charge Container
These metal containers were used to store and transport the charges for the 17cm K18 towed heavy field gun. Only 338 of these guns are believed to have been produced and they saw service from 1941 to 1945.
This container has been overpainted in green and has no obvious markings. Inside are wooden inserts and original tan paint. The lid has padding and a rubber seal and is secured by a hinge and two latches. There are handles at either end.
